Born into a multilingual family, Anna graduated from the University of Durham with a BA in Modern Languages and has continued in the linguist tradition ever since, working in the Languages Department at Foyles bookshop, as an English tutor in Madrid, and as a freelance translator for German translation agency Sprachenfabrik. One day she will make up her mind!

Seeking a more sociable working life, Anna started at Zeitgeist as a German translator and project manager in January 2018 and has since developed her translation skills further in subjects ranging from networks to cybersecurity.

Aside from a keen interest in languages, music, and the environment, Anna is a veritable theatre aficionado and bookworm, and when not at home or in the office can be found mooching around London’s West End and various bookstores… or, depending on the time of year, roaming Germany’s Christmas markets.
