After earning her translation degree from the University in Mainz (FASK Germersheim), Christiane moved to Ireland to work as an in-house translator, and later language manager, for SDL in 1998. In 2001, she followed her passion for the written word and embarked on a life as a freelance translator which she enjoyed for nearly 20 years before joining the zeitgeist in-house team in 2019.

Christiane brings a wealth of experience from the world of localisation and transcreation to our team where she is working as an English to German translator and reviewer.

In her spare time, Christiane pursues her passion for Yoga and Pilates, and – when she doesn’t have a book in her hand or is at some local art exhibition, music or theatre event– can be found ambling about in nature.
