Cornelia Waldmann

Cornelia studied Computer Science in her native East Germany before moving to the UK, where she worked in various IT roles, including QA and software engineering at Computer Associates and customer support at HP. A passionate linguist, she studied French and Spanish at the Open University, developing an interest in translation in the process and obtaining a MA in translation studies from the University of Bristol. In 2011 she made the final leap into the world of translation and joined Zeitgeist.

Cornelia works mostly as an English to German translator and reviewer, regularly using her versatility and organisational skills to manage projects for some of Zeitgeist’s key clients.

A self-confessed Coursera addict, she also enjoys (almost) anything to do with history, singing and cross-country skiing.
