Maya graduated in Maths from the University of Bath before taking a couple of years off to travel across Europe.

A fluent French speaker, she dropped her backpack in 1998 to join accountancy and business advisory firm BDO Stoy Hayward where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant, before taking on a role as Group Accountant at National Express.

In 2008 Maya took a career break to raise her family before joining Zeitgeist as Finance Director.
