Sandie swapped the Parisian paving stone for the Mancunian red brick in 2008. Prior to that, her linguistic journey started with a degree in English and Russian from Université Paris-Sorbonne and continued with an MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Salford in 2012. After providing freelance translation services for 7 years to clients and agencies around the world, with a focus on the outdoor sports industry, she was keen to work in a more collaborative setting and explore new specialisms; the Zeitgeist French translation team was exactly what she was looking for! Growing up near the popular Fontainebleau forest (so not a “true” Parisian), Sandie has a passion for nature, especially big chunky boulders which she’s been climbing since she was a teenager.
